I grew up in Brooklyn, NY where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Child Study at St. Joseph's College and also obtained my Master's degree in Literacy from Alfred University. I have been teaching full time since 2010, however, I have always had jobs that catered to children (i.e. summer camp counselor).
I began my teaching career teaching in NYC public schools, I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I have also taught in daycare where I discovered my love for teaching younger children. In 2017, I moved to Georgia with my husband and 2 children and began teaching at Westside Elementary where I began teaching 4th grade and then Kindergarten. I enjoy every minute of teaching and look forward to many years to come.
