I grew up in Thomaston, Georgia where I attended Thomaston-Upson County Schools. In 2006, I graduated from Upson-Lee High School. In May of 2013, I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University (Go Eagles!!) In June of 2018, I graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University with a Masters in Early Childhood Education.

I started my teaching career at Mill Creek Elementary school in Statesboro, Georgia. I spent one year in Pre-K before moving back to Warner Robins. I received a job offer at Westside Elementary and started teaching 1st grade and continued 1st grade for 4 consecutive years. In May of 2017 I received a chance to move back to Pre-K and I have been in Pre-K at Westside for 2 years. I am currently in my seventh year of teaching and still loving every minute of the career that chose me. I love being a Wildcat and hope to continue teaching for many more years to come!
