Hello Wildcats! My name is Barbara Campbell and I am blessed to be a teacher at Westside Elementary. I have served in Houston County for around nineteen years and have worked with students of all ages and grades. I currently hold a bachelor's degree in general education and special education. I also have my master's degree in elementary education from Valdosta State University. I recently started a specialist program at Georgia Southwestern University in elementary education. I also hold a literacy endorsement, math endorsement, and my ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) endorsement. I am an Air Force wife and mother of two wonderful children, both graduates of Warner Robins High School (GO DEMONS!). My husband served our country for 21 years while on active duty and continues to work for Robins Air Base. My daughter graduated college from Middle Georgia State Universities Nursing program and works as an ICU nurse. My son graduated from Mercer University's International Affairs program and will be joining the Air Force in July of 2024. My husband and I have been married for 33 years and have lived in Europe (Turkey) and Asia (Japan). My hobbies include swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. I also enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking, and surfing (basically anything that involves water). I am happy to be part of the Westside family because Westside is the Bestside! And it's GREAT to be a Westside Wildcat...ROAR!
